Thoughts on Reincarnation and Progression of the Soul
 Although many people do not believe it, the soul reincarnates many times during its existence to the time when it can reside in the Realms and take a different pathway for progression. This earth plane has, rightly, been referred to many times as a ‘schoolroom’, a place of learning; a place of experience. There are some people working for spirit at this time who are referred to as ‘advanced souls’: my channel is one of those people. Her progress through the many lifetimes she has lived has brought her to the point when she knows that at the end of this life, she will go home and stay there. No more lifetimes to be lived.
The reason for this is simply that this lifetime is the culmination of all she has been through, the accumulation of every set of experiences she has undergone. In many of those lifetimes she was a wise woman, a seer, a priestess, one with the knowledge of spirit. In others she was not so gifted. Sometimes she had to live without the benefit of the help, guidance and knowledge of spirit.
There is a reason for this. It is a reason which has been shown to her this week, as we discussed the progression of another medium, someone she knows who is not living a life with spirit the way spirit would wish them to live. This person dictates when spirit can come to them, not that spirit is free to speak with them all the time.
I would explain something here to those who are new to this way of life and living.
There are two separate schools of thought amongst the guides who give advice and help from the spirit world. One holds to the theory that mediums should dictate to their guides when they can approach and be attuned, that to do otherwise would damage the health of the medium. This is the group who insist there is no such thing as a well medium. Another, a much larger group, I have to say, believe that a medium, a sensitive, call them what you will, should be speaking with spirit all the time, that there is no set time for communication. I belong to this larger group and am pleased to say that my channel does not consider having set times for spirit communication is anything but confining, if not limiting, and avers that she could not live that way. From the moment she opens her eyes from sleep, whether it is during the hours of darkness or as light brightens her day, she speaks with those around her, seeks their companionship, enquires after their well-being, asks their advice on her day. It enables those of us around her to support and guide her through the complex life she and all of you lead. It enables us to bring her medical advice when needed within seconds of the request going out, it enables us to give her that wonderful gift, laughter and the even more priceless gift, love, throughout every moment of her life. She has been told by other mediums that she is ‘open’ and has been told that is dangerous. Those who make these statements do not understand the level of protection that surrounds her, the care we take of her and every medium who walks with spirit at all times. Does the person who makes this claim not understand that the very last thing we would allow with a medium, a channel, is that they are open to all spirits, evil and good? Do they not think that we would not protect such a person to the very limit of our abilities and that if that ability was not enough or sufficiently strong enough we would not call in further assistance? Of course we would.
And so it is for every medium who lives a life with spirit as constant companions. We protect, we guard, we ensure nothing comes anywhere near them that should not be near them. As for there being no such thing as a well medium, there is rarely such a thing as a well person in your world, for your toxic ridden lives ensure that you all suffer with something, somewhere, trivial or major. Your healing lists grow ever longer and much of the suffering which we are asked to alleviate comes from tainted foods, water and air. Your cancers, your heart conditions, your breathing problems come from the damage you, as humans, have and are doing to the planet on which you live. Walk along a street and think of the fumes you breathe in from passing vehicles, from paint and mortar on the buildings, from the fumes being emitted by those buildings through outlets of all kinds. Think of the bacteria which lives on every item you touch and how that is transferred to your mouths or your skin. I do not wish to scare you but your insistence on so-called hygiene is damaging your immune systems to a point when there is not a single illness you will not be able to fight because you will not have not developed defences for it. I would not wish to see you return to a state of wastes in the street, of death by plague, of contamination of foodstuffs and water, it would be foolish of me to do this. But I would wish that you were not so pre-occupied with hygiene, with ensuring no one touches dirt or bacteria. A wise man once said ‘we all eat a peck of dust before we die’ and so we do. It does no harm. The harm comes from chemicals, from pesticides, from inconsiderate disposal of manufacturing waste. The hygiene, oddly, is not practised in the one place it should be: your hospitals. There the vulnerable are indeed exposed to dirt, to bacteria, to chemical infestation of all kinds. There you are failing those who rely on cleanliness the most. For the rest, I would say do not be so obsessed, allow a little latitude in your attitude.
And I have digressed substantially from my original thought, but these are things I have long wished to day and there was my chance.
I return to the theme: living with spirit and not living with spirit.
Those who, in one lifetime, are given the gift of spirit communication and interaction and who fail to use it properly, are directed to live their next life without spirit communication, but with the aching secret knowledge that something is missing, that they are lacking a component of some kind. Then, when they return for a further life, they reach out to spirit and know that true communication is what you would call 24/7, a simple way of saying permanent and perpetual.
This is the way my channel lives. We, her team, and we are many indeed, know we can come to her at any time and she will recognise and speak with us. She knows our vibrations, she has no need of the person’s voice to know who we are although we do give her the courtesy of addressing her by name, the name each of us has chosen to call her. In fact, it is something we all do out of love. But she can, and does, know us by vibration. She will sit quietly and read and then look up and greet whoever has come by name. We in turn come close to her to surround her with the white light of spirit love and protection. She needs no ritual to communicate, to give clairvoyance, to give guidance, to do her stone readings. She has, in fact, often begun a reading and been interrupted several times without losing the thread of what she wanted to say to the person for whom she reads. This is true communication, this is true joining of human and spirit.
We know that some of her friends live this way, in constant communication with spirit, for she can ask their advice and receive an instant answer, no waiting for the right time to speak with a guide. Others hold to the ‘we must wait for the right time’ and are not as good servants for spirit as they could and should be. These are the ones who must learn to live a life without spirit companionship, not for any vindictive reason but as an object lesson for the future. My channel has lived two or three such lifetimes, not many considering how many lives she has been through already, but they were sufficient for her to know and appreciate the true communication with spirit which she has had many times in her past and now has in this life.
My thoughts are these: you are spirit in human form. You cannot therefore set times to speak with the spirit which you are, for you are that spirit and accordingly should speak and be free with spirit at all times. It is wrong to deny spirit communication, to hold it to certain times of the day, to put spirit away from you and say ‘not now, do not come to me with your messages for this is not the time we have set aside’. My channel will set aside time to work, that is to channel her books, but not to speak with us. There is a difference.
Allow us to come to you when we need to come to you, that time usually being when you need us, even if you do not realise it at that precise moment. We know you better than you know yourselves, we know your needs, your desires, your hopes and your fears. We would help you with all these things but we can only do it if you are prepared to listen when we come.
Be not afraid. We come with love and only with love. We come with your best interests at heart and, most of all, we come because we know how much you need us and how much we need you. Without that partnership, spirit life would not progress. The whole point of living is progression.
Thoughts on Abortion.
Abortion is a most sensitive, fraught and delicate subject, with violent passions held on both sides of the debate. It is not the rights or wrongs of the matter which I wish to talk about at this moment, but the souls of the babies who are not born. This is my spirit view on the subject and spirit people hold different views, depending on the way they have developed. We do not all agree on the same thing.
Babies do not touch the earth plane for all manner of reasons. One is to teach humans to be more giving and forgiving. When there is a miscarriage, it takes a lot of strength for the mother to overcome her sorrow at losing a child and she needs the loving support of her partner to do this. It is a trial of strength, in a way. Friends and family have to learn that ‘it’s all right, you can have another one’ is not the answer to a grieving mother who is sorrowing for that particular child which she formed a bond with from the moment it was conceived, often without her knowing it. Giving and forgiving. The mother has to forgive herself, for often she will blame her own body for rejecting the child before it could grow to its full term. The giving has to come from others, in their support through a difficult time. This is all part of the souls’ learning, that is, every soul who is touched by the loss of the child. Had the baby meant to be, it would have gone full term and come into this world.
When a mother takes the awful decision to have an abortion, in her eyes to ‘kill’ her child, she needs to forgive herself for making the decision. It is an incredibly hard thing to do but there are many reasons why someone decides not to go ahead with a pregnancy. The reasons do not need to be related; you know them full well. I have to say to you that the soul which incarnated at that time was fully aware it would not touch the earth plane. It needed the experience of being part human and then to return to the spirit world. Sometimes abortions are life-changing lessons for not only the mother but the partner of the mother, the family, the friends. It puts a strain on relationships; it tests people’s loyalty and understanding. There are many spiritual aspects to an abortion, related to understanding, forgiving and loving. The most important thing, though, is not to judge. Until you are that mother, in that situation, with that many questions to be asked about the future of the child, you cannot say whether it was a good or evil thing. It is wise to remember that everything, every single thing, is in accordance with spirit law. If the child was not meant to be born, it will not be born. That spirit, that soul, will incarnate at a future time, possibly with the same person. It could be that the time was not right, that the child was too impatient to begin a life cycle on your side of life and had to return to the spirit world to await the right time. Blame should not be loaded onto anyone for the decision they make, for the decision they make is the right one for that time.
My belief is that those who were meant to arrive do, those who were meant only to stay for that very short time in a human body do, and then go back and choose another body, another mother, another family. It also is a fact that sometimes a spirit makes a mistake and does not want to arrive and be part of that family, so they arrange to go back.
Some spirits pick the right mother but not the right time, so that child returns to the spirit world, not having touched the earth plane at all, and then comes back when the time is right for them to be born.
There are many imponderables here. What we ask you to do is accept. That is not easy, we know, but it is the only way, accept that spirit knows best when it comes to the unborn child. Yes, it is a gift from the great spirit, yes, there is life from the moment of conception, but there is also the element of freewill, even at that stage and the child may decide to go home of its own accord.
This is not going to be easy but we have to do it. My beloved channel knows of what we will now speak.
My channel became pregnant. The doctor was clumsy in his investigation to check this out and she miscarried. She did not know she was pregnant, she did not know she had miscarried, the doctor said it was a mistake. Later she became pregnant and carried her child to full term. Her husband said he wanted a blonde, blue-eyed girl. She gave birth to a blonde, blue-eyed girl.
Many years later my channel met a very talented medium who told her immediately she had two children. She said no, only one. Two, he said, one in the spirit realms. That was the moment when my channel realised she really had been pregnant all those years earlier. Later she began to draw portraits, very bad portraits, as she will admit! Within the many drawings she did, one little boy’s face came over and over again, until she asked who he was and why he kept coming. The answer she got was that he was the son she did not carry to full term, because her husband had said he only wanted one child and that child he wished to be the blonde, blue-eyed girl.
The boy, who was named Jason by those who care for him in the Realms, chose to go home. He chose to go home first because he wished to give the chance of life to the daughter who was to come and second, just as important, if not more so, to give my channel the ultimate proof of life after ‘death’. How much greater evidence can there be than knowing a two month pregnancy, which was all it was at that time, resulted in a ‘living’ child who came back after 30 years to make his presence known through psychic art and through the words of a medium she had never seen before and was destined never to see again!
There is a funny story to be related here, too, whilst my channel is working on this particular theme. One night when she went to bed, she asked to be woken at 6.30 AM. The following morning she was woken by a frantic cry of ‘Mum! Mum!’ She rushed into her daughter’s bedroom, only to be greeted by a sleepy irate person who wanted to know why she had been disturbed. It was then my channel checked her clock and heard the giggling, she knew then that Jason had indeed woken her at 6.30 AM…
Her son is a presence in her life, even if they do not speak very often, she is aware he is there and that is a comfort in itself.
And so it is with every child who goes home. They do not leave the person of whom they were once a part, they are always there, like a shadowy presence, a thought, a lingering memory. No matter how they do it, they never leave that person.
If this has helped to settle anyone’s mind on the emotive and vexed question of abortion, then this communication has been worthwhile. It has not been an easy one to write, my channel will attest to this, but these are words that needed to be said.

Time and Reincarnation.
Imagine if you will a mass of string, yards of it, which you need to wind into a ball. You begin small, winding loops around your fingers. Then you slip those loops off and begin to wind the string around them from a different direction. You form it into a small ball and begin to wind from yet another direction. Slowly but surely the ball grows in your hands, a compact thing, nothing but string. But string wound around in many different directions, from every angle, if a sphere can be said to have angles.
This, then, is how you should perceive Time. It is not linear; it did not begin in a certain year in a certain place. It was, is and always will be of itself. Time. An abstract concept. It is human beings who have put the limitations on time, who insist that it is something material, something you can grasp, or measure, or compute and calculate. In truth, as has been said in essence by a wise philosopher quite recently in an excellent magazine, it is people who move through time, not time that rushes by people.
The facts are that when Man first developed cognitive thinking, that is the ability to consider, to interpret, to deduce and to put into effect that which he has deduced, he has sought to regulate his life in some way. It made sense for prehistoric man to sleep during the darkness and work during the light, for there was little point in labouring in darkness when the body needed rest. This automatically began to divide time into day and night, into unequal portions of time in which to do certain things. It is not too difficult to imagine, for example, Cro-Magnon Man saying to his partner, ‘there is not enough day to do all that I need to do.’ Ever was it thus and ever will it be.
You say now, in this fast moving ever developing modern world that time rushes past, that the days are not long enough, that you do not know where the time has gone. The time has gone nowhere. It stands perfectly still while you hustle and bustle and worry your way through the hours, days and weeks you allocate yourself for living. You have divided Time into segments, centuries, years, months, weeks, days, minutes, seconds and live by that. Now a person can win a race by a hundred-thousandth of a second. In all seriousness I ask you, does such a unit of time really exist? You have made this fast paced life. Time is still. You move. Therefore, if you spend time doing nothing but look at the scenery, whether that be internal or external, meditation or actually taking notice of what is around you, you will feel that time has slowed down, or even stood still for a while. No, it is you who have slowed down or even stood still for a while and your mind, body and soul have appreciated it.
Let me say this: If you are waiting for something or someone to arrive, does not the time seem to drag? If you are ill, does it not seem interminable? If you are happy, rushing about, does it not seem to fly by? It is all perception. It is all in your mind. It is all in the way your emotions interact with your physical body, for your solar plexus is working all the time, that source of all nerves, of all tensions, of all instincts. So you see, time is what you and everyone else make of it. Of itself it is nothing.
What then has this to do with reincarnation?
The fact is this: we do not reincarnate in a linear form. We did not begin reincarnating in some far distant time and steadily work our way toward the Now, the present. My beloved channel knows she was a priestess in Ancient Britain, a Pharaoh’s wife, a resident of the lost continent of Atlantis, but in what order was she these people in relation to the others of which she knows: the Dutch sea captain, the Cardinal at the Vatican, the aristocrat, the scribe, the wise woman and, most important of all to me, my senior concubine back when the Maya civilisation was at its peak? The truth is - there is no set line. The string in our metaphorical ball touches where it will, here and there, wound this way and that. The soul goes where it wants to relive that which it needs to experience to be fulfilled, to aid its progression. If a ‘return’ to a period in the past is the best way to that experience, then the soul will arrange to go there. My beloved channel has a distinct leaning toward the 15th century. She knows she has lived in that century on at least two occasions and believes there were more lives endured then. She is waiting for these to be revealed to her, as they will, in the fullness of – time. There, we are forced to use that word again.
What you need to remember is this: when discussing or experiencing past lives, do not try and match the dates, for often they will not make sense. For example, and here again I must of necessity use my beloved as my example, for she is close at hand and she holds my emotions at this time, she lived a time in the 15th century as a male. On her death, she reincarnated as a female, still in the same century.
You must also bear in mind that when you reincarnate, part of you remains in the Realms. Not all of the soul returns to earth, not all of the spirit is in the person who walks the earth now. If you think of the soul as an orange, most of the segments are on your side of life but some remain in the realms, retaining an overview, often creating that link to spirit that you may or may not realise is there. Those who work with spirit know they sometimes deal with or respond to something called the Higher Self. That is the part which remains in the realms, the part which cannot lie to you, no matter what, for it is bound by the laws of spirit to give you the truth. Because, in essence, it is the remainder of you.
Reincarnation is a vast subject that cannot be condensed to one book or even several, let alone an article of this size. This is one aspect of what is an ongoing discussion between many, including the spiritualist organisations themselves, one of whom has banned all talk of it, as it cannot be proved. It can and has been, many times, children who know their previous parents and families, those who walk around strange cities and know where they are going. In truth, that is an excuse to ban something that they find uncomfortable and cannot cope with.
The truth is, we all reincarnate and we continue to do so until the moment comes when the soul decides it has had enough of your side of life and is content to progress further in the Realms, working from our side to yours to help those who are still coping with the physical life.
The truth is, reincarnation is not an orderly progression, any more than Time moves. Let us put to one side our prior understandings and look afresh at these two major things. Reincarnation can happen any time, any century, any era that the soul wishes to return to and live another life there. Time stands perfectly still. Because of that, because it is no more than a concept, not an actuality, the soul is able to pick a point in that ball of string and return to it without problem, because the string is wound around and around and touches where it will. At that point the soul can cross back and forth across what you call history and live again. That is one of the great wonders of the spirit world, one that few acknowledge or even think of. It bears much thought, for it answers many questions even as it raises more. But then, all aspects of spiritual life must of necessity raise questions, only in that way do you find your truth, in seeking for the answers, the truth is revealed.
I wish you freedom from the strictures of time. I wish you many reincarnations, for the experiences are valuable and are never wasted. Within all that, I wish you peace.
